Ivory carving of the Infant Jesus, as “Salvator Mundi”, standing on a (non contemporary) base. His right hand is in blessing and the left holds the globe signifying His status as Saviour of the World . The curls of the Infant are carved in a very typical Goan manner as is the rest of the body.
