We initiated our activity in London in the 70ies. We are in Portugal since 1989. We have an important group of works of art and paintings, from the cross-fertilization of the cultures of East and West, arising from the Portuguese maritime expansion in the sixteenth century. We stock mainly Indo-Portuguese items, classical Oriental art and also some European items.
We show regularly at LAAF (Lisbon Art and Antiques Fair) and Art and Antiques Autumn Fair at Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes, Lisbon.
We have published throughout the years a number of well illustrated and documented catalogues, available online, on our site. (please see the heading ”Catalogues”).
We are engaged in research, mainly on the topic of Indo-Portuguese furniture (16th-17th cent) and have a general interest in Southeast
Asian Art.
